Tuesday March 28th 9:30 - 11:30am - Cozy up to Crochet

This is a beginner class, where you will make either a cup cozy, headband or dishcloth, learn how to start a crochet project, finish and even change colours. This class is great for anyone just getting started and is ideal for true beginners. 

Outcomes:
You will learn to foundation chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and treble crochet. Additionally we will discuss fiber, different types and their characteristics (what to use when), how to read patterns and charts. Lastly you will leave understanding the importance of tension and gauge.

Supplies Supplied:                  Crochet hook, yarn, mug and pattern

Tuesday March 28th 1 - 3pm - Intro to Weaving
What you can do with weaving is limitless, but you need to start somewhere and we are going to teach you how to create your own small loom and will supply lots of colours of yarn and ribbon. You will leave with a finished woven band and we will give examples of how it can be used. 
Supplies needed: None
Supplies Supplied: Loom, Yarn and ribbon
You will leave with a loom, finished product and information on how to continue. 

Wednesday March 29th 9:30 - 11:30am - Bathbomb Making
This workshop is ideal for those looking for natural, non-toxic health & beauty products, want to learn how to make great gifts or are interested in new ways to use essential oils.

In this workshop you will learn about

Thursday March 30th 9:30 - 11:30 - Calligraphy - Cursive Writing

Thursday March 30th 1 - 3pm - Intro to Embroidery
Why did our ancestors embroider? Embroidery is a simple form of self expression, it is a calming and relaxing way to express your creativity. 
Take your clothes to a new place, create a walling handing of your favourite animal or a funny saying. 
In this class you will learn 8 basic stitches, how to transfer a pattern on to fabric and whats tools you'll need for different projects. 
Supplies needed: None
Supplies supplies: hoop, fabric, needle & thread.

You will leave with the sampler of the 8 basic stitches and be well on your way with your project. 

Project options (pick one):
